The Practice

Led by Marcus Allen and Allison Behring, we operate as an atelier practice focused on the intersection of personal identity and visual storytelling. Our work is grounded in costume design and production methodology, supported by a trusted, long-standing network of tailors, craftspeople, and collaborators.

The Methodology

This structure allows us to function as both a studio of authorship for private clients and a focused department for film and television. By unifying these worlds, we ensure that complex creative work, from private wardrobes to production-facing engagements are conceived, developed, and fully realized within a single studio.

The Why

This formalization allows us to bridge the gap between high-level creative vision and the logistical rigor required to execute it. Whether we are building a personal image or holding a production department, we provide a streamlined, one-point-of-responsibility solution that removes the usual friction from the process.

The Network

Our growth has always and will remain rooted in our direct network. As we move into this next chapter, we are extending a private referral honorarium when introductions lead to meaningful, long-term engagements. It is our way of acknowledging the professional trust that keeps our operations focused and efficient.

We’re proud to finally put a name and a structure to the methodology we’ve been building for years. This studio, at its incipience is the synthesis and the cynosure of that work on set and in practice; the realization of a vision we are now extending to our direct network.
